Beginning this fall as an annual tradition, the Calder Resource Fair brings together faculty, staff, and students from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Jackson Health System, the Veterans Administration, and UHealth for an engaging showcase of innovative technologies and library services. Held on the first floor of the Calder Library, the event features dozens of exhibitors, including publishers, database providers, librarians, and library staff, highlighting resources that support everything from surgical education to research excellence. Attendees can enjoy interactive activities such as the Resource Fair Scavenger Hunt, raffle prizes, swag bags, and refreshments while discovering the many tools, services, and expertise available through Calder Library.

Calder Library invites you to exhibit at our First Annual Calder Resource Fair on Thursday, October 1, 2026, 10am-3pm in the heart of the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine (UM MSOM)!
This annual event is designed to introduce our users from the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine, Jackson Health System, Veterans Administration and UHealth to the valuable tools and resources the Louis Calder Memorial Library provides.

The cost to exhibit is free BUT we do have a few guidelines:
Only resources Calder currently subscribes to can be highlighted
This is not a sales opportunity. Any new purchasing/licensing opportunities are to be sent to Diana Reyes (dmr295@miami.edu) for evaluation
One or more premium raffle items ($50+) are requested for the event raffle.
Much of the Calder Resource Fair’s success is due to vendor participation and sponsorship.
